It's almost impossible to provide an accurate price over the phone or online due to the nature of our work. We can't see underground without digging to find the problem. However, we've developed a flat rate pricing method based on our extensive experience in the field that gets us very close to accurate pricing. Explore the categories below to get an estimate of the typical expenses for common repairs and services requested by our customers.
We offer most of our services using a flat rate system, so you don't have to worry about paying by the hour or facing high markups on parts. There is a minimum service charge of $200, though prices can vary depending on the specific needs of your project.
Our quotes are valid for 14 days, and we always ensure you know what you're paying before we start any work, guaranteeing transparency and your approval every step of the way.
Here's a peak at a few of our prices to give you an idea:
$200. Why charge a service fee? There are many hidden expenses in operating a business. This fee helps to offset those costs. This charge includes items such as a fuel charge, time to the property, making sure we have the tools necessary to complete the job and keeping the truck stocked with a wide array of fittings, pipe, and various other parts that may be needed. We can't foresee every situation, but we do our best to have what we need on the truck ready to go! Are you active/retired military or First Responder? We want to say thank you! Your service fee is $150!
$200 for 4 zones, $25 for zones 5-9 after that. If you have 10 or more zones, we give you a bulk discount! Its $15 for zones 5-10+.
What is a system audit? I'm glad you asked! This is the fun part of our job! In a system audit, we will go through your system zone by zone and head by head. We will make any minor adjustments needed to get water spraying where water should be spraying. We will calculate the water usage of each zone for efficiency. We will make any necessary adjustments for the time each zone needs to give the area the water it should have. This is where we will identify any repairs or changes that need to be made. Now, repairs and changes are not included in this fee, this is just a diagnostic look at your system to determine how healthy it is. Thus, we call it an audit.
Its unfortunately inevitable that pipes will break. As our earth heats and cools, the ground expands and contracts which can definitely lead to pipes moving, becoming strained and breaking. Not to mention damage from freezing, equipment, shovels, vehicles and a host of other causes. Our line repairs begin at $215 for 3/4" to 1" pipe and will go up from there depending on the size of the pipe. Unfortunately, we may need to add an extra fee depending on the location of the break if its in extremely rocky soil, or under tree roots that complicate the repair.
Sadly, electronics do not last forever... But, rest assured, we are staying on top of the latest technology for you! There are so many options now in controllers! You can go as basic as a simple dial and screen to having a fully automated system that your smart home apps can control! For a new controller, we charge $500 for up to 6 zones and $600 for 7+. An Audit will be needed to make sure everything is working correctly. An audit is also needed if we install a new smart controller. Why? Because these new controllers are really fun! They operate off of the nearest weather station, allowing you complete control of how your system interacts with your local weather. They also allow us to tailor a program specific to each zone. So a system audit is needed to calculate what is needed by each zone so we can program accordingly. If we do go with a smart Wi-Fi controller, this price also gives you the peace of mind that we wont abandon you to figure it out alone! We will be there for you as long as you have the controller to answer any questions and help with the app. Now, to be honest, that answer may be the link to a video on Youtube to se if that can solve your issue. The manufacturers have amazing video libraries of detailed, step by step guides over most issues you may run into. It is often easier for you to watch a video, then rewind and pause as you setup or troubleshoot. If this doesn't work, of course, we will be there for you ASAP!
Two wire systems can be tricky rascals! But we have the tools and experience in working with them. Due to the complex nature of these systems, diagnostics is run by time and materials. Once the issues have been found, the same flat rate pricing on a conventional system will take effect.
Hourly rate for Two wire systems is $200 per hour plus the cost of any materials needed for diagnosing.
What is Smart Water? Smart water is the ability to control the fine aspects and get "down in the weeds" of controlling your water usage. It may be a simple as swapping out heads and nozzles to more water efficient types to as complex as swapping you controller to a Wi-Fi controlled unit and adding in flow meters. It all depends on your budget and desires. Some common costs are below.

We currently recommend Hunter MP Rotators for solid, efficient nozzles. Using these nozzles we can cut your water usage by 1/3! These nozzles will fit directly onto the typical spray head such as you might find in your flower beds, however, for turf areas, we would need to change the standard rotor (the head that sprays 1 stream of water and spins) to a spray head to fit the nozzles.
To replace a nozzle is $25
To swap out a head is $50 for sprays and $75 for rotors.
These prices are generally spot on so feel free to go through your yard, count the heads and nozzles and know what it will cost to convert your system to a smart system that saves water and saves you money!
