How much is this going to cost me?
It's almost impossible to provide an accurate price over the phone or online due to the nature of our work. We can't see underground without digging to find the problem. However, we've developed a flat rate pricing method based on our extensive experience in the field that gets us very close to accurate pricing. Outback Irrigation favors upfront discussion rather than generic fixed promises. Share the concern, let us understand the system and site, and we can talk through the most practical direction.
The issue and the repair
A straightforward head replacement differs from a problem that needs deeper troubleshooting across a zone or controller.
System and property size
The number of zones, system layout, site access, and the scale of the landscape all shape the work involved.
Parts and installation scope
Required components, new-system planning, and the specific installation approach are discussed as part of the estimate.
NOTE: We offer most of our services using a flat rate system, so you don't have to worry about paying by the hour. We have a minimum service fee of $200 ($150 military/first responder). This covers our technician's time and travel, up to 45 minutes of basic diagnostics, and a 1 year parts and labor warranty. If the repairs are more extensive and cannot be completed during the scheduled appointment time, we'll schedule a follow-up appointment which will not incur an additional service fee.
Install estimates have a design fee of $200 ($150 Military/First Responder). This covers the technician's time thoroughly evaluating your property and creating a system specifically designed for your property’s needs. The fee is due on the day of the appointment, and will be applied toward your installation total when you choose to move forward with us.
